Blanche Pope supports the less fortunate

This evening we met with Marlene Keanu, of Blanche Pope Elementary, to kokua in preparing for a special gathering in support of those less fortunate in our community.  Adult Clothing, children’s clothing, slippers, shoes, sweaters, jeans, dresses, t-shirts and lets not forget an all you can chili & rice dinner.  With support from members of the Hawaii Kai Baptist church, University Avenue Baptist church(see photo insert), two groups of youth from these church’s youth ministries got to work unloading even more blessings for our community of needy, after arriving in several vehicles.  Special mahalo to Adam Hampton, youth pastor, who also happens to work out of the Waimanalo Health Center and Dani Beth Crosby, children’s ministries at Hawaii Kai Baptist church for coordinating this work force of young people.  Our sincere mahalo to all participants, as we continue to serve our community.
